I week in the garden of England
Had a great week in the garden of England. My main aim was to re photograph Dungeness with it decaying boats and associated paraphernalia. As with a previous visit the weather failed to be kind as it was either flat grey or clear blue skies. Neither the best for dramatic images of this spectacular location. I still throughly enjoyed the experience and I think managed one or two decent images, The area provides a good number of location to photograph and I especially enjoyed walking the white cliffs of Dover, topped with the arrival of a spitfire doing its stunts over the sea, magical.
Having tried to find St Thomas a' Beckett Church at Fairfield on the Romney Marshes on a previous visit and it was pleasing to arrive at this rather delightful location. As usual the bright blue skies and the low water level in the ditches was a disappointment, but you have to do the best you can when making a fleeting visit to the iconic locations.
Still plenty left to photograph in Kent so hopefully I'll be heading back in the future
